ACCIDENTE
ACCIDENTE (Madrid) have created some of the catchiest punk tunes going at the moment. I've never been a huge fan of the pop side of punk, having always been into crust and d-beat etc. But a good band is a good band. Accidente are one of those bands that are just too good to be limited by a genre. They play a super catchy brand of melodic punk which will be stuck in your head for actual days. Political punk with rebellious anthems - don't miss it. If you don't believe me, listen for yourself.

LEAVINGS
Leavings is a three piece punk band from Brisbane, Australia. Combining driving, aggressive bass and drums, shouted vocals, and wiry guitar with catchy, muscular hooks and cavernous noise and drone-scapes, the group’s songs generate a bold, vigorous energy that is both affirming and cathartic.

REQUIN
Requin found their name in the malfunctioning television of a local fish and chip shop. The screen was caught uncontrollably switching between Australian TV quiz ‘Deal or no Deal’ and a French news channel reporting a shark attack (un attaque de requin). In an odd way, the same tension and release between different worlds can be seen in Requin’s creation of intricate, art-focused pop music. Listen to their debut EP ‘The Noisy Miners Swoop Him’.
